Ingredients

  • 3 rosemary sprigs
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 250ml pink grapefruit juice
  • 120ml vodka
  • 15ml Monin sugar syrup
  • a handful of ice cubes
  • 100ml chilled sparkling water
  • pink grapefruit, to garnish

Step by step

  1. Put the rosemary sprigs into a cocktail shaker and muddle several times by pressing down with a muddler or the end of a rolling pin to release their flavour.
  2. Add the lime juice, pink grapefruit juice, vodka, Monin sugar syrup and a handful of ice cubes and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds until cold.
  3. Strain into tall ice-filled glasses and top up with the chilled sparkling water. Garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig and a slice of pink grapefruit, if you like.
