Ingredients
- 25g caster sugar
- 75ml water
- 4 Lady Grey tea bags
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 300ml chilled tonic water
- lemon slices, to garnish
Step by step
- Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat, add the Lady Grey tea bags, and then leave to cool and infuse for 10 minutes. Strain, squeezing the tea bags, and chill. Fill 2 glasses with ice. Stir together the Lady Grey syrup, lemon juice and orange juice, then divide between the 2 glasses. Top up with the tonic water and gently stir to combine. Garnish with lemon slices to serve.
