Ingredients
- 25g caster sugar
- 3 Earl Grey tea bags
- 100ml gin
- 1½ tbsp lemon juice
- a handful of ice cubes
- lemon slices
Step by step
- Place the sugar and 75ml water in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and then leave to cool and infuse for 10 minutes. Strain and chill.
- Place the chilled Earl Grey syrup, gin, lemon juice and ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake well until cold, then strain into 2 Martini glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.
