Ingredients
- 75ml whisky (something unpeaty like bourbon is best)
- 30ml sweet vermouth
- 5ml Maraschino cherry syrup from the jar
- 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Maraschino cherry and/or a twist of pared lemon zest, to garnish
Step by step
- Stir together the whisky, sweet vermouth, cherry syrup from the jar, 3 dashes of Angostura bitters and a handful of ice for about 30 seconds. Strain into a Martini glass, then garnish with a Maraschino cherry and/or a twist of pared lemon zest.
