Ingredients

  • 12 large strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 24 marshmallows
  • 2 bananas, cut into 24 chunks
  • 20g salted peanuts, chopped
For the chocolate peanut butter sauce
  • 80g dark or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 50ml double cream
  • ½ tbsp golden syrup

Step by step

Get ahead
Prep up to 2 hrs ahead; remove from the fridge.
  1. Alternately thread the strawberries, marshmallows and bananas onto 12 bamboo skewers (2 pieces of each per skewer). Set aside on a platter.
  2. For the sauce, put all the ingredients plus a pinch of salt in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Leave to melt, stirring occasionally. Drizzle some sauce over the sticks, sprinkle on the nuts, cover and chill for 10 minutes to set, or until ready to serve.
  3. If prepped ahead, take the sticks out of the fridge about 20 minutes before serving. Warm the sauce if needed and serve in a small bowl for dipping.
