A highlight of the summer calendar for nearly 30 years, Official London Theatre’s Kids Week is back again to keep the whole family entertained with the best the capital’s venues have to offer. Fondly referred to as ‘the longest week in summer’, Kids Week runs throughout the school holidays, from 20 July to 31 August, and means a child aged 17 or under can see a show for free when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Not only that, but an additional two children can attend for half price – and there are no booking fees. 

From family favourites like Disney’s Hercules The Musical, Wicked, Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain - The Best Bits, Brainiac LIVE and My Neighbour Totoro and treats for teens like The Hunger Games: On Stage and The Devil Wears Prada, to shows for younger audiences like Zog, The Enormous Crocodile The Musical, The Gruffalo and Be Like Blippi, there’s something for everyone.

As well as the performances, shows offer a range of free activities for Kids Week ticketholders. Look out for activity sessions, workshops or interactive curtain calls before or after performances, meaning you get even more from your theatre trip.
