Ingredients
- 1½l cider
- 75g light brown soft sugar
- 5 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 inch piece ginger, sliced
- 1 vanilla pod, halved
- zest and juice of 1 orange
Step by step

Add all of the ingredients to a large pan, then turn the heat to high. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly before spooning into glasses or mugs.
