Ingredients

  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 tbsp clear honey
  • 75ml gin
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice, plus slices to garnish
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Step by step

  1. Place the cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods and cloves in a small saucepan with 300ml of water. Bring to the boil, then simmer gently for 10 minutes to infuse with the spices.
  2. Stir in the honey to dissolve, followed by the gin, orange juice and lemon juice. Divide between 2 heatproof glasses or mugs and garnish each with an orange slice.
