Ingredients

  • 75g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids), roughly chopped
  • 25g coconut oil

Step by step

  1. Put the chocolate and coconut oil in a small saucepan and place over a low heat. Heat together gently, stirring until the chocolate has just melted. Pour into a jug and set aside to cool to room temperature (if you use this straight away, it will melt the ice cream, and will be too hot for it to magically set).
  2. Scoop your chosen ice cream into bowls and once the sauce has cooled but not set, pour it over the top. The cold ice cream will cause the sauce to set hard within a matter of seconds – magic!
