Ingredients

  • 320g ready-rolled puff-pastry sheet
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 1½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 130g butter
To serve (optional)
  • Taste the Difference chocolate caramel sauce

Step by step

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C, fan 200°C, gas 7. 
  2. Line two large baking trays. Unroll the and cut in half horizontally. Cut each half into 2.5cm-wide strips – you should have 34 in total. Transfer to the trays and bake for 10 minutes or until deeply golden-brown. Leave to cool slightly.
  3. Meanwhile, combine the sugar and ground cinnamon on a plate. Melt the butter. Dip the pastry strips into the butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar. Transfer to a wire rack and leave for 5 minutes or until dry to the touch. Serve with chocolate caramel sauce, or your sauce of choice.
