Belgian chocolate brownies
Makes 20 brownies | prep 10 mins | total time 35 mins
- 1 x Paul Hollywood Luxurious Belgian Chocolate Brownie Mix
- 150g unsalted butter
- 3 medium eggs, beaten
- Preheat oven to 190°C, fan 170°C, gas 5.
- Place the brownie mix in a bowl. Melt the butter in a jug in the microwave for 30 seconds or heat gently in a pan until melted.
Using an electric mixer blend together the melted butter and the brownie mix. With the mixer running slowly add the beaten eggs. Mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined and you have a smooth batter.
Tip Top tip: as a finishing touch, once cool, dust with cocoa powder or drizzle with melted chocolate - divine!
- Pour into a 25x20cm greased baking tin and smooth the top to level. Place in the middle of the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The brownie should still be soft in the middle. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
