Discover new cocktail possibilities with a beautifully balanced island gin made from 22 hand-foraged wild Islay botanicals

Shake things up

Gin has been dominating cocktail menus, social media feeds and supermarket shelves for some time now so finding a new bottle to add to your drinks cabinet isn’t going to be hard. Finding a gin that’s truly pioneering, though, isn’t quite as easy.
The Botanist Islay Dry Gin stands out from the crowd for a number of reasons. For one, it’s the first gin made on Islay, and is distinctive for the 22 hand-foraged Islay botanicals that are added to nine core gin aromatics to make it unapologetically Scottish in flavour. The island botanicals, including creeping thistle, heather, lady’s bedstraw, mugwort and bog myrtle, are sustainably collected from all over Islay between March and October by a professional forager. The gin itself, which is distilled in small batches in an old copper pot still, is rich and smooth on the palate, and great served simply in a G&T or mixed into cocktails.
What’s more, if you are committed to supporting a company that values purpose as much as profi t and uses its business as a force for good, you’ll be pleased to learn that Bruichladdich Distillery Company, home of The Botanist Gin, was the fi rst gin and whisky distillery in Europe to receive B Corp certifi cation. As a B Corp, the company meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact, balancing purpose and profi t, and is legally required to consider the impact of its decisions on its workers, customers, suppliers, community and the environment.
So why not try The Botanist for yourself, in one of these drinks (right)?
