Cocktails for a crowd shouldn’t be complicated. Scaling up this seasonal twist on a summer classic is easy to do (shake up two servings at a time) and needs minimal ingredients

Ingredients
- 100ml blood orange juice
- 60ml Pimm’s No.1
- 30ml whisky
- 2 tsp sugar syrup (we used Monin)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- lemon slices and redcurrants to garnish, optional
Step by step
- Add all the liquids to a cocktail shaker along with a handful of ice cubes and shake together for 15 seconds until the shaker feels completely chilled. Strain into a chilled, short glass tumbler and garnish with a slice of lemon, plus a stalk of redcurrants if you wish
