- 200g porridge oats
- 400ml semi-skimmed milk
- 2 red-skinned eating apples
- 150g vanilla yogurt
- seeds from 1 small ripe pomegranate
- 40g chopped pistachios or walnuts
- a drizzle of honey, to serve
Put the oats and milk in a large bowl and stir. Cover and chill overnight.
When ready to eat, coarsely grate the apples into the mixture, avoiding the core and pips. Stir in the yogurt. Spoon into bowls, scatter with the pomegranate seeds and nuts and drizzle with a little honey.
