10 minutes with... Joe Wicks
by Sarah Alcock
Joe Wicks, also known as The Body Coach, tells us what he loves and what he hates...
Are there any foods you absolutely hate?
Tinned tuna – it's the smell, it reminds me of cat food, eugh! And tinned mackerel, basically, tinned fish makes me gag.
What's your favourite thing to cook?
Thai green curry, it's so simple, quick and delicious.
Rice, pasta or potatoes? What's your favourite carb?
Rice. It's so versatile, you can have it with a curry or a stir fry or add different spices to it.
What would be your last meal?
A Nando's: Half a chicken with lemon and herb, Peri-salted chips and spicy rice, followed by a frozen yogurt.
Who would be your dream dinner party guests? (You can have three)
David Brent, David Attenborough and Conor McGregor – it's a random mix, but I reckon we'd laugh a lot and learn a lot.
Chocolate or cheese? Why?
Obviously chocolate. Is there a chocolate flavoured cheese? That would be awesome. Sainsbury's should totally make that.
If you could liken yourself to any food, what would it be?
A coconut... tanned, a little hairy and sweet on the inside.
Best restaurant to eat out in?
I love Zuma in London – they have the most incredible dessert that oozes chocolate sauce and melts in the mouth.
McDonald's or Burger King?
To be honest, neither.
Favourite naughty treat?
Chocolate – I don't eat it very often, but when I do, I go big. Sometimes I can smash three bars in one go!
