Ingredients
- 40g baby leaf spinach
- juice of 2 oranges
- juice of ½ lime
- ½ ripe avocado, flesh roughly chopped
- 2cm piece root ginger, sliced
- 1 tsp agave syrup or clear honey
- 3 ice cubes
Step by step
Get ahead
The smoothie can be made the night before and kept in the fridge.
- Using a hand blender, or in a liquidiser, blitz the spinach with the orange and lime juices until smooth. Add the avocado, ginger, agave or honey, ice cubes and 100ml cold water; blitz thoroughly.
