  I have made all three of the soups from the 2012 October issue for dinner parties. They have been so useful and not full of double cream!

  I love the warm Vietnamese pork baguette from June 2011 issue. It's a great Friday night supper recipe. I sometimes use chicken instead of pork and wrap it in a flour tortilla instead of the baguette. It's delicious!!

  My kids love the salmon and asparagus traybake - and I love it too, because all I have to do is put it in the tin and stick it in the oven!

  Have to say Nigella's chocolate raspberry pavolva from the December issue 2012 does it for me. I've made it countless times and every time EVERYONE asks me for the recipe. It's so simple but such a crowd pleaser!!

  Provençal Tomato Tart.This recipe was a long time ago, but has become a firm favourite, and make it time and again, lovely in summer with salad.

  Individual hot mincemeat souffles. Thiis recipe was in the magazine years ago and attributed to Winteringham Fields, South Humberside. My husband just adores them & everytime we have friends over for dinner he ALWAYS wants these as a dessert!!

  I love the salmon with ginger, soy, lime and honey dressing – simple and delicious. It’s a real midweek favourite in our house!

  October 1997 the recipe for Steve's spicy lentils, simply delicious. We made this dish at least once a month and passed the recipe on to so many people.
  
  Unfortunately during a home sort out this issue was lost and I would give my eye teeth to have that recipe back again.

  My all-time favourite recipe is the Beef Guiness and Stilton pie taken from one of the earliest issues. It is a sure-fire winner with family and friends and our French neighbour absolutely love it

  A few years ago your magazine included scone recipes...in particular one of them used apple and yoghurt. Sadly I no longer have the recipe and despite searching on line I have been unable to find it. It would be great if you could repeat the recipe ....or point me in the right direction to find it!

  Going back to Sainsburys Magazine January 2004 there are a number of good dishes but the one that I use most often is the Step by Step guide to Braised Pork Chops,.
  
  This is a family favourite particularly with mashed potato on a winters day. There is always more cider bought than needed for the recipe and is drunk with the meal.

  in the August 2008 issue i loved the blueberry and almond squares. i know this fruit is a super fruit but i only like them cooked i.e in a muffin but this recipe is sooo delicious i use it time and time again. almonds are also good for you so 2 of your 5 a day in one hit!!!
  could we have a "pet hates in the kitchen", mine would be people who cook, especially on tv, with long sleeve cuffs. last night i watched a man knead bread and his shirt cuffs were in the dough, yuk.

  One of my all time favourite recipes is James Martin's Spicy Bean Stew with Sausages. I rarely ate sausages before trying this. Perfect at this time of year. I let a work colleague borrow the magazine to photocopy it and it "disappeared". I have found what I think is the same recipe on the Internet. In fact I am making it NOW!!

  The Delia recipe for thai chicken was great, along with all the recpes she did for Sainsburys which I had on a calendar (free with a Christmas edition of the magazine) I used to make this regularly and passed the recipe on to many people.
  
  Unfortunately during a kitchen re decoration this calendar was lost and I would give my eye teeth to have that recipe back again.

  My favourite recipe, used for birthday treats and cake Friday at work is from the very first edition in summer 1993. A new wife and mum, I made Delia's sponge recipe - the first step-by-step series with marscapone and ricotta cream and fresh raspberries and raspberry jam - yum!

  My all time favourite recipe was in the Guide to Poultry and Game Cookery supplement which came with an early edition of the Sainsburys magazine. It is Turkey Feuilletes which are individual puff pastry parcels stuffed with turkey, bacon and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Delish!
  Tina, in the same supplement there is a Thai Creamed Coconut Chicken recipe with Green Pilau Rice - could this be the one you are looking for?

  I love the Muscovado Marmalade Cake from February 2008 issue. This cake, like all Sainsbury's recipes, is extremely easy to make and a winner with the family - even if the kids don't like marmalade!! The cake is nice and moist and the marmalade adds a nice tang to a sweet cake!!

  Warm Italian Salad from ages ago it appeared in one of the Top 20 recipes collections - 1996 possibly. Since having children (the oldest is now 21!) my husband and I have a 'feast' on a Saturday evening as our time to ourselves. I often try out new recipes and over the years Sainsbury's magazine has provided many of the recipes. However whenever I asked my husband what his favourite starter is he always plumps for Warm Italian Salad
